Putin, Erdogan may meet once again this year — Turkish ambassador

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the two leaders’ meeting could take place in early October in Turkey.

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan may have one more meeting until the end of the year, Turkey’s ambassador to Russia Umit Yardym said on Monday, TASS reports.

“Our leaders can meet in St. Petersburg,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kremlin press service has not yet announced any preparations for such contacts.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the two leaders’ meeting could take place in early October in Turkey. According to him, the Kremlin does not rule out Russia’s president’s visit to Turkey.
